	What is the Parental Control service?
	The Internet can be a dangerous place for children, but armed with the parental control tools, you can protect your children from these Internet dangers. The Parental Control Service prevents children from accessing inappropriate adult-oriented and violent websites.
	Do I have to pay an extra charge for this service?
	No, the Parental Control Service is completely free.
	How can I enable this service?
	To enable this service just login to your account page http://corp.terra.net.lb/account/login.asp from our main website, click on parental control from the menu and click on the enable button. Please note that after you enable the service you have to: 1- Assign a new parent password (this password will be different from the dial up password and this is to prevent your children from disabling this service) 2- Modify your Proxy settings which can be accessed from the Internet Explorer by clicking on Tools< Internet Options < connections. Choose the dialup connection that you use to connect (if you use Broadband or TerraSmart connections click on LAN settings) then click on Settings and enter: proxy-filter.terra.net.lb port 8080 in the Proxy section.
	I have enabled the service and now I cannot browse any website!
	Please note that after you enable this service you cannot browse any website unless you change your proxy settings.
	Does surfing the internet become slower through this service?
	No, the browsing speed will remain exactly the same; only restricted websites containing sex or violent content become inaccessible.
	I have enabled parental control, now there is a specific website I cannot browse?
	Only websites that contain prohibited defined family material, such as sex or violent content, will be denied. If you suspect that a specific website does not contain any forbidden content and yet you cannot browse it please call customer care @ 1293.
	Will all internet applications run normally after activating the parental control service?
	Yes, the parental control service filters out and restricts access to inappropriate Internet websites ONLY. Other Internet applications won�t be affected.
	How will I prevent my children from disabling this feature?
	Once you enable this feature you will be prompted to create a new parent password which is different from the dial up password. So if your child tries to login to the account page with the dial up password, he/she will not be able to see the parental control feature. Only logging in with the parent password can make this feature visible for editing.
	Does this service work with TerraBroad and WiGo?
	Yes. This service is supported with TerraBroad, WiGo in addition to regular and 56K dialup.
