TerraNet Multi-Link allows you to double the speed of your 33.6K dial-up
connection. With Multi-Link your connection speed could reach 66K.
If you are experiencing slow download rates or feel your Internet connection
is not fast enough for you then by using MultiLink you will experience
double the connection speed and faster downloading times.
You need two telephone lines, two regular 33.6 modems (preferably US
Robotics) and a PC with an operating system supporting MultiLink PPP,
including: Windows 98, Windows NT, or Linux. You will then be able to
connect using two modems for double the bandwidth; i.e. instead of
connecting at 33.6K you will connect at 66K.

When you connect using a regular or 56K dialup service, you will be assigned
an IP address dynamically. In some cases, you might need to have the same IP
address each time you connect. This might be needed to access a remote
secure site on the Internet, or to run special services over you dialup
connection. TerraNet’s Static IP service grants you this facility.
